Do I have to pay a deposit for my home removal and is it refundable?

A 20% deposit is required to book your date of removal. However if you have to change the date your deposit will move with it. Deposits can be refunded as long as we have a minimum of 72 hours notice.

What does a removal cost?

As you can imagine, there are a lot of different factors that go in to pricing a removal, including distance, the amount of belongings you have to remove and access. Our removals start from £695, but please contact us for a tailored quotation.

Do you provide a packing service and/or packing materials?

Yes we provide a large range of packing materials ( including tape, bubble wrap, boxes, etc), as well as professional packing service should your require it.

Do you have storage facilities?

Is insurance included in my removal quotation?

Our professional home removal service is fully insured to include contents and public liability. We also track all our vehicles, for added peace of mind, so you know the whereabouts of your belongings at any time during the move.

What do I need to do prior to moving day?

We have complied an extensive list on our blog which you can read here. The key is preparation to ensure a stress free move.

What do I do if I’ve booked a removal and my house sale falls through?

Please contact at the earliest convenience and notify us. Your deposit can remain on account until your next move day is confirmed or can be refunded as long as we have a minimum of 72 hours notice.

How far in advance should I book my removal service?

A removal quotation can be given at anytime prior to your removal date, we only ask for a 20% deposit to confirm your moving date once all parties are agreed, including Cotswolds Removals.

Do I need to arrange a parking permit for the removal vehicles?

If a parking permit is required in your area this is your responsibility to arrange with the local council in advance.
